A WALK IN CONTEMPORARY ARCHITECTURE LIT UP BY B LIGHT
The lighting solutions of B LIGHT — leading producer of lighting luminaires — contribute in making the promenade alongside the Esplanade, the futuristic performing arts center built in the emblematic Marina Bay in Singapore, even more evocative.
This visionary space features a sequence of architectures — a 1600-seats concert hall, a theatre with a capacity of about 2000 seats, a recital studio for chamber music concerts with 245 seats and a 220-seats theatre studio dedicated to experimental performances; the distinctive design of the two main buildings is unique, with their rounded frames fitted with more than 7000 triangular glass sunshades.
A bustling hypermodern area — visited everyday by thousands of people, both during the day and the night, for which B LIGHT was asked to supply lighting solutions for the seafront promenade, opposite the theatres: an extremely suggestive environment, characterized by green areas and artistic water installations.
The wide wooden benches almost seem to rise from the esplanade thanks to the setup, underneath the seats, of LINEAR TUBE 112 SLIM, a linear outdoor luminaire: compact, modular and dimmable, it is ideal to highlight architectural projects thanks to its completely homogenous light distribution across the entire surface, similar to fluorescent light sources.
KUBO 54 CL — a compact architectural luminaire with an extremely neat and minimal design — was selected to light up the various water installations: due to the proximity to water, B LIGHT supplied KUBO 54 CL in a stainless steel AISI 316L custom version, perfectly resistant to atmospheric agents.
An important project that increases its appeal thanks to the fixtures of B LIGHT, as always designed to highlight architectural spaces and to live every environment in a better way.
